Refund Policy
Last updated 16 August 2026
This policy covers the Goblin Tools Pro subscription. How you cancel and how a refund is handled depend on where you took out the subscription:
- On our website — billed by Polar, the merchant of record.
- In our iOS app — billed by Apple through the App Store.
- In our Android app — billed by Google through Google Play.
Cancelling and refunds go through whoever billed you. For subscriptions bought in the app, Apple or Google is the seller of record, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies and we cannot issue them ourselves — but you can always contact us and we will help where we can.
If you subscribed on our website (Polar)
Polar are the merchant of record and seller of record for the subscription, under Polar's Buyer Terms. This section is intended to be consistent with those terms.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, which opens Polar's billing portal. Your Pro access continues until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Cancelling stops future payments; it is not itself a refund of the current month.
Refunds. We want you to be happy with Pro. If something has gone wrong, you were charged by mistake, or a renewal went through that you did not intend, contact us and we will refund it. We do not normally refund a period that has already been used, since Pro is a low-cost subscription you can cancel at any time, but we look at every case fairly. Refunds are processed by Polar back to your original payment method, usually within a few business days. As merchant of record, Polar may also issue a refund on its own initiative, for example to resolve a billing dispute, regardless of the above.
To request one, email contact@goblin.tools from the address on your account and we will arrange it through Polar. You can also contact Polar directly at support@polar.sh, or use the "Manage billing" link in your account settings.
If you subscribed in the iOS app (Apple App Store)
Purchases made in the iOS app are sold by Apple through the App Store, and Apple is the seller of record.
Cancelling. Cancel from your Apple account: on your iPhone or iPad open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose Goblin Tools Pro and tap Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds. Because Apple is the seller of record, refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and we are not able to issue them ourselves. Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are unsure or need a hand, contact us and we will help where we can.
If you subscribed in the Android app (Google Play)
Purchases made in the Android app are sold by Google through Google Play, and Google is the seller of record.
Cancelling. Cancel from your Google Play account: open the Play Store subscriptions page (or Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), choose Goblin Tools Pro and cancel. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds. Because Google is the seller of record, refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google under Google Play's terms, and we are not able to issue them ourselves. Request a refund through Google Play. If you are unsure or need a hand, contact us and we will help where we can.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have statutory rights, which may include a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital content and services, that right can be affected once you have agreed to immediate access and started using the product. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you have. To exercise one, contact us — or, for a purchase made in the app, Apple or Google — and your request will be handled in line with the law.
Contact
However you subscribed, you can email contact@goblin.tools from the address on your account. We can refund website (Polar) purchases directly; for App Store or Google Play purchases we will point you to the right place and help where we can, since Apple and Google handle those refunds.
